BOOTH, EVELYN V. Mrs. Evelyn Vest Booth, age 72, went to be with our Lord January 10, 1992. She was a member of Roanoke Moose Lodge Chapter 1022, a member of the fellowship bible sunday school class, and was a active member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death this week by her son-in-law, Officer Fred W. Robinson. Remaining family members include her loving husband of fifty-one years, Bruce E. Booth Sr. She was the beloved mother of her son and daughter-in-law, Errett and Aileen Booth and her daughter, Deborah B. Robinson; three loving grandchildren, Dina and Angie Booth, Aaron Robinson, all of Salem; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special close family friend, Joyce V. Viars of Vinton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, at Locust Grove United Methodist Church, Salem with Rev. Henry S. Moody, Jr. and Rev. Thomas D. Maddrey officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Burial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, January 12 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. The family will meet with friends and loved ones from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday. Arrangements are being handled by the John M. Oakey's and Son Funeral Home Salem.
