A photo caption on page 10 of today's preprinted Extra section should read: Jill Wright, 21, from Winter Park, Fla., is an undergraduate doing biochemistry research during the Hollins College short term. She walks her horse, Maddie, near the campus stables. Riding courses are offered at every women's college but Mary Baldwin. One member of Sweet Briar's admissions committee says the good riding attracts good students.

Because of errors by a photographer and editors, a picture Saturday in Extra was misidentified. It showed neon signs at Tanglewood Mall's food court.

Clarification

Saturday afternoon's Virginia Commonwealth-Virginia Tech basketball game was not televised as scheduled by WJPR/WVFT Channels 21/27 because of problems receiving the satellite signal from Raycom Sports, the station said in an on-air message to viewers. The telecast appeared in program listings in Saturday's Sports and Spectator sections.
