BLEVINS-JONES

Tandi Tanette Jones and Curtis Lee Blevins were united in marriage New Year's Eve at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford, Virginia. The Reverend Lloyd Sheets officiated the ceremony. The reception was held at the Church Fellowship Hall.

The bride was escorted by both her father, Tad Jones, and her brother, Tad E. Jones, and was given in marriage by her parents. Terri H. Shires, best friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jamie Little, Bambi Threlkeld, Leslie Parcel, friends of the bride and groom. The junior bridesmaid was April Blevins, niece of the groom. Kelsey Blevins, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl. David I. Blevins served as his son's best man. The ushers were Jeff Little, Anthony Miano, Chris Johnson, and Todd Threlkeld, friends of the bride and groom. Brandon Blevins, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer. Heather Kennedy and Diana Osborne were the guestbook attendants.

The bride designed her own gown which was created for her by Judy Hale. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses tipped in red with ivy and baby's breath surrounding a heirloom family bible.

The bride, daughter of Tad and Deloris Jones of Peterstown, W. Va., is a graduate of Bluefield State College and Virginia Academy of Real Estate. The groom, son of David and Erma Blevins of Chilhowie, Va., is a graduate of Virginia Highlands Community College and received his Masters degree at Radford University.

After the wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains, the newlyweds will live in Radford, Virginia.
