PRICE-ALLEN

Joy Leigh Allen and Stephen Kennedy Price were married December 14, 1991 in Clement Baptist Church, Hurdle Mills, N.C. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Raymond B. Powers. The reception was held at the church fellowship hall. The matron of honor was Jill Allen Coleman, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Michelle C. Day and Cheryl W. Moreland, friends of the bride; and Kristi Price, sister of the groom. The best man was David W. Price, father of the groom. The ushers were Steve Baber, Stanley Smith, and Lucian Zelazny, friends of the groom. The guestbook was attended by Karen Ruff and Susan Tillery. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry A. Allen of Hurdle Mills, N.C.; and granddaughter of Mrs. Nancy B. Allen of Roxboro, N.C. She is a graduate of Meredith College, Raleigh, N.C., and attends North Carolina State University, Raleigh, N.C. He is the son of David W. and Sandra W. Price of Blacksburg; and grandson of Mrs. Ruby Price of Blacksburg, and Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Wright of Narrows. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech. The newlywed will live in Blacksburg, after the wedding trip to Disney World.
