WALTERS, MARGARET W.

Margaret Walker Walters, age 72, died January 12, 1992, in a Harrisonburg hospital. She was born in Rockbridge County November 15, 1919, and was the widow of James Harlow. Surviving are two daughters, Joan Southers, Lexington; Nellie Cales, Raphine; five sons, James J. Walters, Fairfield; Carl B. Walters, Buena Vista; David L. Walters, Buster B. Walters, and Bobby L. Walters, all of Rockbridge Baths; three sisters, Virginia Miller, Natural Bridge; Helen Miller, North Carolina; Lula Roberts, Bernville; four brothers, Shewey Walters, Lexington; John Walters, Roanoke; Tom Walters, Buchanan; Bill Walters, Brownsburg; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the McElwee Presbyterian Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
