IKENBERRY, J. MINOR

DALEVILLE - Mr. J. Minor Ikenberry, age 89, died Thursday, January 16, 1992. He was a member of the Daleville Church of the Brethren where he was a faithful choir member for sixty years and a lifelong fruit grower with Ikenberry Orchards. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Flora Ikenberry; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Loretta Ikenberry, Daleville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn and Charles Kurtz, Staunton; Bennie and Bill Pugh, Roanoke; one sister, Lois Stinnet, Buchanan; one brother, Justus Ikenberry, Daleville; eight grandchildren, Mark and Debbie Ikenberry, Daleville; Ben and Michele Ikenberry, Daleville; Dean and Cathy Kurtz, Tallahassee, Fla.; Sharon and Michael Hanger, Roanoke; Kim and Chris Uthe, Greensboro, N.C.; Laurie and Bill Cianelli, Reisterstown, Md.; Susan Pugh, Roanoke; David Pugh, Roanoke; twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Daleville Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Kevin Daggett officiating. Interment will follow in the Daleville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radar Funeral Home Troutville.
