RUSH NAMED TO SERVICE AUTHORITY
Larry "Nick" Rush of Christiansburg, who was elected to the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors in November, has been appointed to the county Public Service Authority.
The supervisors elected Rush to the authority at their meeting Monday night.
Rush replaces Roy Collins as the District C representative on the authority. His term runs through Dec. 31, 1995.
Reappointed to the authority was Supervisor Henry Jablonski from District D. His term expires Dec. 31, 1993.
The authority provides water and sewer services to citizens in certain areas of the county.
Dwayne D. Kittle, a Blacksburg businessman, was reappointed by the supervisors to the Montgomery Regional Economic Development Commission for a term that expires at the end of 1994.
Kittle will be the Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce's representative on the commission.
