N.C. MAN CLAIMS THIRD OF $6.3 MILLION LOTTO

A Greensboro, N.C., man came to the Lottery Department's regional office Tuesday to claim his share of Saturday's $6.3 million Lotto jackpot.

Jimmy Broadnax, 53, selected the winning combination of 6-18-20-28-33-43 by using family birth dates. The winning ticket was bought at Harris Grocery in Axton.

Broadnax told lottery officials that he was laid off from his maintenance job last year. - Associated Press
