To report information, call 344-8500A Southwest Roanoke convenience store robbery is the subject of this month's Crime Line.
On Dec. 15, 1991, at 5 a.m., the Save-X Mini Mart at 4176 Franklin Road S.W. was robbed at gunpoint by two men wearing black ski masks. Both robbers were described as being about 6 feet 4 inches tall; one was described as weighing about 260 pounds and the other as weighing about 170 pounds. They were last seen driving an older model dark-brown Datsun or Toyota with North Carolina tags.
Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
