TROMPETER, ADA E.

Mrs. Ada Ella (Ellen) Trompeter, age 77, of Roanoke County, died at her home Saturday morning. She was the widow of Samuel Albert Trompeter, a past officer of Beth Israel Sisterhood and worked in the family businesses. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven A. and Maxyne B. Trompeter, Judge Philip and Sarina Trompeter, daughter Connie Hausman, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Shana and Jenna Hausman, Dolly, Star, Jason and Jessica Trompeter; two brothers, Dr. Benjamin Diamond, Soloman Diamond, both of Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Bea Goldberg, Silver Springs Md.; brother-in-law, Herman Trompeter; sister-in-law, Clara Landay. Funeral services will be conducted in Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Monday by Rabbi Jerome Fox. Memorial will be in Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Beth Israel Sisterhood Needlework Guild.
