WORLEY PICKED MOST POPULAR

Rocky Mount's Satch Worley won the NASCAR Winston Modified Tour's Most Popular Driver Award, and Mike Stefanik of Coventry, R.I., was selected the Tour champion for the 1991 season at the seventh annual awards banquet Saturday.

Worley finished eighth in the Modified Tour point standings and, in September, he won his first NASCAR Modified Tour event, the Sunoco Race of Champions at Pocono International Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. - Staff report
