Joe Clark to speak

Joe Clark, educator and principal at Paterson High School in New Jersey's Eastside, speaks on "Perspectives on Discipline, Citizenship and Education" tonight at 7:30 at the Bast Center of Roanoke College.

Clark was the subject of the 1989 Warner Brothers film "Lean on Me." Admission is free, but tickets are required. Call 375-2207.

\ Reading rescheduled

A poetry reading by Michael Waters at Virginia Tech has been rescheduled for tonight at 7 in the University Club West Lounge.

Waters will read from various works including his latest, "Bountiful."
