PERKINS, HATTIE B.

BLUEFIELD, VA. - Hattie B. Perkins, age 78, of Montgomery Street, Bluefield, Va. died Tuesday in a Bluefield, W.Va. hospital. She was born in North Carolina, the daughter of the late W. and Mary James Blevins. She was a member of the Graham Presbyterian Church in Bluefield, Va. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Frank Perkins; three brothers, Willie, Paul and Charles Blevins; and one sister, Louise Blevins. Survivors include two sons, Robert Danny Perkins, Ocean Grove, N.J.; Oliver Leslie Perkins, Richmond, Va.; sister, Elen Paisley, Christiansburg, Va.; five grandchildren including grandson, Robert Daniel Perkins, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with the Rev. Curtis Murray officiating. Burial to follow in Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Friends may call at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary tonight from 7:00 to 9:00. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
