CHILD DOESN'T ASK TO BE CONCEIVED

I AM SICK of hearing all this baloney about abortions and teen-agers. I think if a teen-aged girl is going to have sex, she should think about some kind of birth control if she doesn't want to get pregnant.

If a young girl thinks she is woman enough to have sex without birth control and she gets pregnant, she should be woman enough to carry that baby for nine months and go through all the pain and hell to have that little innocent child that she created. He/She didn't ask to be conceived; it just happened.

I was 15 and scared to death when I first got pregnant, but my pregnancy was planned with his father. Even if it wasn't, I would have never aborted my son for anyone. I am now 21 years old; I and my husband, now 25, have a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl.

Please, young ladies, think about what you are doing before you do it, or you might regret it later. ROBIN WILLIS SHAWSVILLE
