FERRUM WOMEN FALL IN FINAL 82-66

Novella McMillan scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures as Methodist toppled Ferrum 82-66 in the championship game of the women's Dixie Conference tournament on Saturday.

Niki Claiborne scored a game-high 28 points for Ferrum and was named to the all-tournament team. Sarah Quesenberry added 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Panthers (16-11), who trailed by one at halftime. \
