Bills' Kelly to appear on `General Hospital' soap

Jim Kelly will trade his cleats for sneakers as the Buffalo Bills quarterback takes to the basketball court on "General Hospital."

Kelly will play himself in two episodes of the ABC soap opera during the week of March 14. He will be joined by teammate Chris Mohr as they raise money for a fictitious pediatric cancer unit by challenging "General Hospital" medics in a charity game.

"You never know, someday I might pursue a full-time acting career," said Kelly, whose team lost the Super Bowl to the Washington Redskins. "I've always wanted to do a Western like `Young Guns.' "

\ In Niagara Falls, N.Y., a five-ton pickup truck lost control at a "monster" truck show Saturday night, crushing to death an 82-year-man and injuring at least eight other people, hospital officials said. The truck nicknamed Bad Medicine veered suddenly before crashing into spectators at the Niagara Falls Convention Center.
