JAPANESE BENEFITED FROM INTERNMENT

I DEFINITELY think the imprisonment of the Japanese in California during World War II was in their favor. Even though life may have been hard in the camps, it could have saved many of their lives. Remember, America was mad at the attack on Pearl Harbor, and many might have vented their vengeance on the Japanese, probably taking lives.

Just maybe some of them were spies working for the motherland. War is war, and Japan was out to win. Pity us if they had. EDWIN R. ROBERTSON PEARISBURG
