FELDER, DOYLE TOP METRO WOMEN'S TEAM

Janice Felder of Southern Mississippi and Gwen Doyle of Louisville headlined the 1992 All-Metro women's basketball team, announced Tuesday.

Also on the first team: Charlita Davis of UNC Charlotte, Anna Pavlikhina of Virginia Commonwealth and Angie Snyder of South Florida.

Virginia Tech junior Lisa Griffith was one of six second-team members. The others: Bether Mollerup of VCU, Tanya Bullock of Southern Mississippi, Keisha Johnson of Tulane, Nell Knox of Louisville and freshman of the year Markita Aldridge of UNC Charlotte.

Guard/forward Christi Osborne of Virginia Tech was one of three unanimous selections for the league's all-freshman team. Osborne averaged 9.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Also on the team: Aldridge, Keira Rozier of South Florida, Roma Coleman of Tulane and Angela Barden of UNC Charlotte. - Staff report
