GRAMMY WINNER COLE GARNERS SOUL TRAIN AWARD

The sixth-annual Soul Train awards, derived from the long-running "Soul Train" TV dance program, were held Tuesday night at the Shrine Auditorium. The show was hosted by Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Will Smith and Vanessa Williams.
