VMI BASEBALL TEAM ROUTS VA. WESLEYAN

VMI defeated Virginia Wesleyan 13-4 in a three-hour, 15-minute college baseball game Wednesday that included 16 bases on balls.

The game was called after eight innings because of darkness.

Billy Goodrich picked up the win in relief for VMI (5-11). Brian Adams went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and Warren Groseclose had three RBI for the Keydets.
