LINE'S OPPONENTS WILL SQUAWK IF POWER LOST

THOSE CUSTOMERS of Appalachian Power Co. who oppose the 765,000-volt line will make the most noise if their electricity shuts off when the lines become overloaded.

Your electric bill is the least of all utilities in the average household. Even if you have oil or gas heat, it takes electricity to make it operate. The water supply to your house is made available by huge pumps operated by large electric motors.
