ROANOKE'S UNITED WAY COMMENDED

I COMMEND United Way of Roanoke Valley for the proactive stand the volunteer board of directors took in regard to United Way of America's president, William Aramony.

In these days when the dollars raised to fund needed human services in the valley through United Way are already being stretched to breaking, we do not need another reason for people not to contribute.
