OBIT HUFF, A.

HUFF, ALBERT W., JR. Albert Waymond Huff, Sr., age 51, of Route 5, Box 374, Bassett passed away Tuesday at Conway, N.C. He was born in Floyd County December 29, 1940. He is predeceased by his father, Oakley Huff, and a brother, Wilford Huff. Mr. Huff was a truck driver for Virginia Carolina Trucking Co., served in the U.S. Army National Guard, and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Hubbard Huff; his mother, Reba Harmon Huff, Floyd; two sons, Kenneth Dave Huff, Raleigh, N.C.; Albert W. "Doodle" Huff, Jr, Collinsville; five sisters, Cornelia Agee, Betty Wade, Connie Belcher and Margaret Mende, all of Floyd; Spc. Kathy Huff, Norfolk; six brothers, Calvin Huff, Roanoke; Galen Huff, Floyd; Clifford Huff, Westville, N.C.; Lawrence Huff, Honolulu, Hawaii; Darrell Huff, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mark Huff, Floyd; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at McKee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Wilson. Interment will be in Henry Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McKee's Thursday and Friday; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., other times at the home on Reed Creek Drive, Bassett.
