Tom Scioscia and David Wise belted home runs in a five-run third inning to propel Richmond to a 16-2 rout of VMI in college baseball Wednesday.

Mike Eydenburg added a homer in the fifth inning for the Spiders (9-10). Scioscia and Eydenburg each had three hits and three RBI. Ray Flowers went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Keydets (6-21), who dropped their seventh straight. Staff report
