OBIT MASON, PAUL ELDRIDGE

MASON, Paul Eldridge, 70, of 132 Plymouth Dr., Roanoke, died Tuesday, March 2, 1993, in Columbia, Mo. Mr. Mason retired from C&P Telephone Company after 26 years of service, and had a life membership in Telephone Pioneers of America. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of the Williamson Road Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Huffman Mason; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula Anita and Billy Keith Richburg, Columbia, Mo.; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Allan and Judy Ann Mason, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Keith Mason and Paul William Mason, both of Roanoke, Jeremy Keith Richburg of Columbia, Mo., and Gretchen Marie Crane of the U.S. Air Force; three sisters, Mildred M. Dudley of Salem, Lorene H. Melton and Merle M. Muller, both of Roanoke; one brother, Charles Edward Mason, Riverside, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from the Williamson Road Church of the Brethren 11 a.m., Saturday, March 6, with Pastor Harold S. Moyer and the Rev. Jan Fuller-Carruthers officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. Friday.
