EVANS-SMITH

Jami Michelle Smith and Richard Garnett Evans were married March 6, 1993, in Cave Spring Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Ward officiating. The reception was held at Hidden Valley Country Club.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Dana Moore. The bridesmaids were Miss Meredith Cook, Mrs. De De Evans, sister-in-law of the groom, Miss Whitney Siemon, and Miss Erika Thomas. Flowergirls were Miss Katie Campbell, cousin of the bride, and Miss Krissy Evans, niece of the groom. The best man was Mr. Wesley Moore. Groomsmen were Mr. Robert Evans, Jr., and Mr. Donald Evans, brothers of the groom, and Mr. Robert Smith II and Mr. Aaron Smith, brothers of the bride. The junior groomsman was Mr. David Bryant, brother of the groom. Ringbearers were Master Tyler Campbell, cousin of the bride, and Master Robert Evans III, nephew of the groom. Miss Margaret Smith, cousin of the bride, attended the guestbook. The hosts and hostesses were Mr. Tony Thomas, Mr. Chris Thompson, Mr. Jeff Thompson, Mrs. Barbara Smith and Mrs. Lee Smith. Wedding director was Fran Krause. Singer was Gary Fulsebakke and the pianist was Susan Houston.

The bride is the daughter of Kent and Ginger Smith of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Valley Printers. The groom is the son of Bill and Joyce Bryant of Salem and the late Robert R. Evans. He graduated from Salem High School and is employed in the nuclear field of the U. S. Navy. The newlyweds will live in Charleston, S. C.
