O'CONNOR-RUSS

Lori Ann Russ and James Edward O'Connor, Jr. were united in marriage on February 27, 1993, in an outdoor ceremony at Magens Bay, U.S. Virgin Islands. Rev. Emmanuel Jaggernauth officiated.

The bride wore a traditional white satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, basque waist and poet sleeves. The bodice featured re-embroidered Alencon lace, pearls and iridescent sequins. The full skirt with beaded appliques fell into a semi-cathedral train. The headpiece, a princess crown, was shirred with a pouf. Her crescent shaped bouquet featuredlilies, roses, stephanotis, lily of thevalley, pearls and English ivy.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen M. Russ of Goodview, Va. She is a graduate from Northside High School and is employed by Food Lion. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E.O'Connor, Sr. of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Roanoke Electric Steel Corp.

Following their honeymoon in St. Thomas, the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke, Va.
