TURPIN-OKIMOTO

Lisa M. Turpin and 2nd Lt. David A. Okimoto, USAR, are planning to be married June, 1993. She is the daughter of Phillip W. Turpin of Salem, and Bonnie M. Turpin of Roanoke County. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. H.H. Turpin of Salem, and Mr. and Mrs. E. Mullins of Cave Spring. She graduated from Cave Spring High School, and received her BA in Psychology at Roanoke College in Salem. She is now attending Radford University School of Nursing, Roanoke Campus. Lisa is a member of Epsilon PSI Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and is employed by Lewis-Gale Psy Center in Salem. He is the son of Col. and Mrs. Alexander Okimoto of Camp Zama, Japan. He is the grandson of Mrs. Eileen Okimoto of Pearl City, Hawaii, and Mrs. Ruth Anderson of Severn, N.C. He graduated from Seoul American High School in Seoul, Korea, and a 1992 Winter graduate of VPI & SU Corp of Cadets with a BA in Finance. He will be participating in Infantry Officers Basic Course at Ft. Benning, Georgia in July.
