SWEATT-SCOTT

Kelly Leigh Scott and William A. Sweatt were united in marriage onFebruary 27, 1993 in the Chapel ofHighland Baptist in Hickory, N.C. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn.

Kelly is the daughter of Sid and Gail Scott of Buchanan, Va. She is a graduate of Radford University with a B.S. inPsychology and a Master of Science in English as a second Language/Linguistics. She is employed by Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, N.C. William is the son Kirby and Cora Sweatt of Athens, Tenn. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and from Virginia Tech with a Master ofScience degree. He is employed by Alcatel Telecommunications in Claremont, N.C.

The newlyweds will reside in Hickory, N.C., following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico.
