OBIT MCCORMICK, CHARLES LEE

McCORMICK, Charles Lee, 65, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 20, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a retired employee of Roanoke Electric Steel, and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Naola Parker McCormick; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Al Murray of Madison, Ala., Kathy and Vernon Allie of New Castle, Bonnie McCormick of Roanoke; sisters, Dorothy Sorrells of Buena Vista, Louise Henkel of Clifton Forge; and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel by Mr. Bob Clardy. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
