OBIT KOEHLER, GALE JOSEPH

KOEHLER, Gale Joseph, 41, of Hardy, died Thursday, March 25, 1993. He was employed as a project manager with the Moseley Group of Richmond. Mr. Koehler was an active member of the N.R.A., an avid sportsman and a member of the A.I.A. He began in scouting as a youth and later became a scout leader. In 1969, Mr. Koehler graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School, continuing his education at I.V.C.C. and received a masters degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Christine S. Koehler; son Jason D. Koehler; daughter, Megan C. Koehler, all of Hardy; his parents, Gale W. and Edith (Ballerini) Koehler, of Peru, Ill.; sister, Gwen Davis of LaSalle, Ill.; brother, Gene Koehler of Oglesby, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, 1993, at 1 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Father Joseph Facura officiating with interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call after 9 a.m. on Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
