OBIT MAUPIN, HARRY BALLARD

MAUPIN, Harry Ballard, 67, of Shelby, Ala., died Wednesday, March 10, 1993. He was the son of Lillian (Peggy) Ballard Maupin and the late Harry Maupin, Bedford. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Birmingham, Ala. He was a graduate of VPI and a registered professional engineer. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church of Birmingham, Ala. He was a graduate of VPI and a registered professional engineer. He was a member of the American Society of Testing Materials, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Welding Society, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Liberty Masonic Lodge of Bedford, the Knight of Temple of Lynchburg, the Zamora Shrine Temple, founder of Boy Scout Troop 76, and the recipient of the Beaver Award in Birmingham. He is survived by his wife, Jane M. Maupin; and by a former marriage, a son, Harry Richard Maupin; and a daughter, Barbara Alisa Burnett; two grandchildren, Cory Mellisa Maupin and Allison Kay Maupin, all of Ala. A memorial service was held March 12 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Birmingham, Ala.
