PHILLIPS-BISHOP

Julia Norris Bishop and Jeffery Dean Phillips were married March 13, 1993, in Virginia Tech Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Thompson officiating. The reception was held at the Alumni Hall. The maid of honor was Amy Krahenbuhl, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rebecca Smith, cousin of the bride; and Angela Quesenberry, cousin of the groom. Flowergirls were Amy and Sharon Quesenberry, cousins of the groom. The best man was Norman Quesenberry, grandfather of the groom. The ushers were Lloyd Bishop, brother of the bride; and Bennie Quesenberry, uncle of the groom. Ringbearer was Eli Krahenbuhl, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were Lloyd Bishop and Bennie Quesenberry. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bishop of Blacksburg. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and is employed by Vanderbilt University. The groom is the son of Mr. Sheldon Phillips of Christiansburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Bowman of Willis. He is a graduate of VPI & SU, and is employed by Brooks Shoe, Inc. The newlyweds will live in Nashville.
