OBIT COOK, PHILLIP ZACHERIAH

COOK, Phillip Zacheriah, 88, of Newport, Va., died Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at his home. Born in Newport on October 22, 1904, he was a son of the late Erastus E. and Caroline L. Harmon Cook. He is survived by two nieces, Frances K. Reed, and Thelmajean K. Lasus; one nephew, Jerry Cook. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke. Burial will be in the Cook Family Cemetery on Spruce Run, near Newport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
