OBIT RATCLIFFE, ANNIE MARTIN

RATCLIFFE, Annie Martin, 68, of Wytheville, died Monday, March 29, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Estelle Underwood Martin. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Everette Ratcliffe; four daughters, Annie Gerline Ratcliffe, Martha Jane Ratcliffe, Shirley Mae Ratcliffe and Glenna Marie Ratcliffe. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Judy Ratcliffe of Lexington; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Phil Barbour of Wytheville; five sisters, Lena Chrisley of Max Meadows, Virginia Frazier of Kent, Ohio, Juanita Davis of Dublin, Brenda Jarrells of Hiwassee, Ruth Walls of Pulaski; three brothers, McKinley Martin of Pitkin, La., Bert Martin of Max Meadows, Otis Martin of Draper; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Michael Ratcliffe. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, 1993, at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Cassell Road, with the Rev. Abe Handy and the Rev. Danny Moore officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour before service time. Interment will follow in the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, is in charge of arrangements.
