OBIT THOMPSON, FRANCES M.
THOMPSON, Frances M., 62, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, January 9, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory one son and daughter-in-law, Donald F. and Anna Thompson, Christiansburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty T. and David Broce of Christiansburg, Connie T. and Clay Goodman of Buena Vista; seven grandchildren, Brian Broce, Justin Broce, Lori Broce, Andy Goodman, James Stuart, Julie Goodman and Leigh Thompson; two brothers, Sidney Woolwine, Roger Woolwine, and three sisters, Barbara Adkins, Iris Hunter, Judy Johnson, all of Christiansburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard Geoghegan Jr. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Box 446, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Monday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
