SCHOLARSHIP SET UP IN NAME OF LIBRARY

A privately funded scholarship has been established in the name of the Smyth-Bland Regional Library.

Approximately $500 will be awarded annually to a resident of Smyth or Bland county pursuing a degree in a human services-related field such as library science, education or nursing.

Application deadline is April 1. The winner will be notified by May 15.
