`CUT THE FAT' CONTEST SEEKS LOW-FAT RECIPES

The Radford Community Hospital cardiac rehabilitation department is sponsoring a "Cut the Fat" recipe contest.

Recipes should contain 30 percent fat or less. They will be judged on taste, appearance, ease of preparation and fat content.

Entries should be sent to Dawn Terpenny, Route 2, Box 320, Radford 24141. There is a limit of three recipes per person.

Winning recipes will be published in the department's cookbook later this year. Other prizes also will be awarded. Winners will be announced March 1.
