OBIT-JOHNSON, CALVIN LAMONT

JOHNSON, Calvin Lamont, 21, of Roanoke, died Saturday, February 6, 1993. He was an employee of Roanoke Times & World News. Survivors include his mother, Gladys H. Johnson, Roanoke; four brothers, Homer A. Johnson Jr. of Roanoke, Thomas Weldon Johnson of Oxon Hill, Md., Gregory L. Hunt of Temple Hills, Md., Ernest D. Hunt of Greenbelt, Md.; one sister, Levona Yvette Johnson, Greenbelt, Md.; his grandmother, Helen M. Hunt, Roanoke; two devoted friends, Naomi Cooper and Sylvia Hutchins, both of Roanoke; two devoted cousins, Beverly Hunt of Roanoke, Wendy Johnson of Greensboro, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
