OBIT-ROWE, ARCH LEE

ROWE, Arch Lee, 83, of Salem, died Sunday, February 7, 1993 in a Salem hospital. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Joe Thompson, Huntington, W.Va.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Lacy and Mabel Rowe, Salem, Buford and Pamela Rowe, Knoxville, Tenn., Donald and Carlton Rowe, King George, Tom and Sally Rowe, Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Geoffrey Rowe, Joel Thompson and wife, Tracy, Suzanne Rowe, Christopher Rowe, Catherine Rowe, Janet Rowe, Berkeley Rowe, Thomas Rowe, Tommy Rowe, Bradley Rowe, David Rowe; four great-grandchildren, Elton Thompson, Jeffrey Fields, Januarie Fields, Darrel Thompson, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with Minister Floyd Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4504 Starkey Road, S.W., Roanoke, VA 24014 or to the Lewis Gale Medical Foundation, 1900 Electric Rd., Salem, Va. 24153. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
