OBIT-THOMAS, EDITH MILBERRY

THOMAS, Edith Milberry, 88, of Rocky Mount, died Thursday, February 11, 1993. She is survived by six nieces, Mrs. Alice Spurlock, Mrs. Sarah Wingfield, Mrs. Lillie Reese, Mrs. Rachel Brown, all of Roanoke, Mrs. Elizabeth Holland, Rocky Mount, Mrs. Hazel Tookes, Orlando, Fla.; two nephews, Hobert Muse, Jr., Russell Hale, both of Rocky Mount; a devoted great-niece, Mrs. Eleanor Woods, Rocky Mount; a devoted great-great-nephew, J.T. Woods, of the home; a devoted friend, Mrs. Norine Poindexter of the home; other great-nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. McKinley J. Hamilton officiating. Interment in Byrdview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday 7 to 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service.
