OBIT FISHER, JACK LINWOOD

FISHER, Jack Linwood, 61, of Roanoke, died Friday, February 19, 1993. He was a member of Raleigh Court United Methodist Church; an eight-year veteran of the Air Force, having served in the Korean Conflict; and a member of the American Legion Post #3. Surviving are his mother, Frances W. Fisher, Roanoke, sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Edgar Bowling, Roanoke; special nephew, Robert A. Bowling, Acworth, Ga.; special niece, Susan B. Haynes, Roanoke; two great-nieces and one great-nephew. Services will be conducted from the graveside, Sherwood Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Monday, with Dr. Gregory L. Adkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. The family will receive from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
