OBIT DILLON, LLOYD LEE ("SPOOKY")

DILLON, Lloyd Lee ("Spooky"), 70, of Rt. 1, Glade Hill, died Saturday, February 20, 1993. He was retired from Fieldcrest Mills; and was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dillon, and two brothers, Don Dillon and Junior Dillon. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Patricia Hall, Ridgeway; two grandchildren, Steve and Nicole; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Paul and Esther Dillon, Jerry Dillon, all of Glade Hill; four sisters, Reba Booth of Rocky Mount, Vera Hodges, Shirley Spencer and Joyce Gibson, all of Glade Hill; several nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Mike Amos, Mabel and Ophus Hutcherson. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 1993, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel with the Elder Clarence Stone officiating. Burial will follow in the Dillon Family Cemetery near the home. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
