OBIT BOWYER, BESSIE REED

BOWYER, Bessie Reed, 86, of Roanoke, died Monday, March 30, 1993. She was the widow of Bevley Bowyer and a long time member of Ninth Street Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her brothers, Charlie Reed and Don Reed, both of Roanoke; brother-in-law and his wife, Boyce L. and Rozelle C. Bowyer, Bedford; and a number of cousins. Services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 10 a.m. Friday, with Rev. Gene Hagenberger officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Oakey's North Chapel.
