OBIT COOK, HELEN G.

COOK, Helen G., 76, of Roanoke, passed away. Her transition was made Monday, March 29, 1993. She was a member of Unity Church of Roanoke Valley. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis W. Cook. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Valeria L. Cook and Chester L. Gibson of Moneta; one nephew and wife, Curry and Wilda Ayers of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 1, with the Rev. Kathryn Robotham officiating. Entombment will be in Sherwood Abbey. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
