OBIT KESSLER, CARL H.
KESSLER, Carl H., 87, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993, at his home. He was the former owner of Carl Kessler Refrigeration Company. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary E. Garnett. Surviving are his wife, Viola C. Kessler; granddaughters, Nancy Garnett Parker and husband James of Springfield, Va., Linda Garnett McMillian and husband Wesley of Roanoke; 3 great-grandchildren, Jennifer Parker, Kevin & Kristina McMillian; sisters, Pernie K. Brindel of Roanoke, half sisters, Bertie K. Elliot of Roanoke, and Freda K. Wright of Smith Mtn. Lake; half brothers, Ralph Kessler of Baltimore Md., Frank Kessler of Bluff City Tenn.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, 1993 from Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Richard L. McNutt officiating. Interment will be at Fair View Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
