OBIT-BROWN, CHARLES A. JR., ("CHARLIE")

BROWN, Charles A. Jr., ("Charlie"), 61, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Sr. and Grace Gibson Brown. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David M. and Peggy Brown, BelAir, Md.; grandson, David M. Brown II, Blacksburg. Services will be conducted 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Oakey's South Chapel. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel.
