OBIT KASEY, LENA PERDUE

KASEY, Lena Perdue, 92, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, April 8, 1993. Survivors include three daughters, Janice Tucker of Halifax, Catherine Mahan of Pennsukan, N.J., Leanne Tapley of Dry Fork, Va.; one son, John Rongo of Baltimore, Md.; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Alfreda Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held noon Tuesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight O. Steele Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Williams Memorial Park. Viewing and visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
