OBIT TERRELL, DOTTIE HELMS PALMER
TERRELL, Dottie Helms Palmer, 73, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, April 13, 1993. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Elder John P. and Clara A. Helms; a twin sister, Lottie H. McMahon; three brothers, Charlie W., Jay Rodney and Rowe Helms. She is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Palmer; one daughter, Renee Clara Bryant; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nancy H. Perdue, Tiny H. Flippen, Hazel and Elmer Bryant, Pearl and Wayne Pendleton; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Sabra Helms, Salem; seven grandchildren, Michael Collins Murphy, Manassas, William Keith Palmer, Christopher Lee Bryant, William Cory Baker, Mark Palmer, Timothy Palmer, Bobby Palmer, all of Roanoke; one great-granddaughter, Shannon E. Palmer, all of Roanoke; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 3 p.m. Thursday, April 15, with Elder Lane Carter officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
