RADVA TO RECYCLE PACKAGING `PEANUTS'

To help celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, Radva Corp. will join a nationwide effort to recycle expanded polystyrene foam packaging. That's the familiar white material, sometimes peanut-shaped, used to cushion or insulate products during shipping.

People who want to recycle white foam packaging and "peanuts" can drop it off at Radva, 604 17th St., weekdays from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The Association of Foam Packaging Recyclers is spearheading the plastic foam recycling drive.
